Finally !!! New Rig up and Running

Hey everyone , 

Been a while since ive posted anything, been a bit busy at work , and my old rig was starting to irritate me .

So after months of research , viewing u-tube reviews , watching guides etc etc etc , i came up with a build that i think meets my gaming and general computing requirements .

Since this was the first time i built a pc i was a bit skeptical and damn nervous when i finally hit the power button .

BANG!!! LOL ,  all ran smoothly and it lit up in a fireworks of RGB lighting (on default) that would make a paint artist proud (or not ) . 

YEAHHH windows boots in 5 seconds flat ^^ . first time took a while tho, i had to set up the bios etc etc , so yeah got all my notes out and took hours doing this and that in the bios ,  OC options etc etc . It would probably take most  of you a few minutes .

All in all everything is running normally (TOUCH WOOD) , CPU and GPU temperatures don't exceed 58 ° at full load and they hover around 36 - 38 on idle .

Suffice to say im running everything on high or ultra with no problems at all and way over 100 fps on 1080 .

Down to the nitty gritty , this is what is under the hood - 

Processor - Intel - I5 8600k 3.6Ghz (Stock) - NZXT KRAKEN X52-AIO for cooling.

Motherboard -  Asus Rog Strix Z370G

Memory - 32 Go DDR4 3200MHz G.Skill Trident Z (2x 16 GTZR)

Graphics card -  Rog Strix - GEFORCE  RTX 2070  OC version 8Go DDR5

Drives -  Boot Drive SSD M.2 Samsung 970 EVO :  500 Go - with a EK Water Blocks M.2 Heat Sink .(what a beast )

If its not green its not mean

that is one cool as fuck case. but looks like it has no opening for intake or is that just the photo's not doing a good job in showing where the vents are for intake ??? 

either way im a huge fan of that side mounted ports and powerbutton.

There are filtered vents at the bottom of the Plexiglas panels covering the fans (both on top and front  , at first i thought it wouldn't be enough , but so far no prob .

I have 2 - 120 mm fans at the top of the case (pulling in cool air) , then at the front i have another 2 - 120 mm fans pushing cool air through to the AIO radiator , then another 2 - 120 mm fans on the inside of the radiator pulling the cold air the front fans are pushing through

.

There is one 120 mm fan at the back of the case and one at the bottom both pulling the hot air out of the case i.e. 8 fans in total.

as soon as i have received the internal thermometer ill be able to read the temp inside the case , for the moment the Cpu and Gpu temps are excellent .

The on board wifi from that mobo is more than adequate. If you want a better connection, I would recommend getting home plugs (wired).

With those specs, you are mega overkill for 1080p 60hz, maybe consider going to 2k or 4k? This should be able to support 2k at 100hz in most GPU heavy games - might struggle with the newer CPU heavy games.
