The week of wins!

We've had two official practice nights since my last update and 4 matches have been recorded on our results page.

Looks like we played GoT on Badlands; glad I wasn't a part of that match as I cannot stand that map at all – the capture points are far too open (apart from the last one) and there are too many ways for attacking forces to get to the points and screw you over; it's just way too hard to defend in my opinion. We prevailed against GoT and won 4 rounds to their 1, a nice win to add to the bag.

We also played 3 matches against aRc |, a clan we have battled before. First on Granary, an old favourite of mine; I think we've pretty much nailed the strategy down for this one and I enjoyed playing Soldier for the first time (without lagging). We then moved onto Fastlane – a map I have never really ever seen ever. I didn't really like the open middle point on Fastlane, it was far too difficult to defend or rally behind to attack again. We finally moved onto Well, a great classic map. Our results clearly reflect our effort though I think on Fastlane, we need to be more aware of Spies as we've never really encountered them in matches before.

Welcome back to Indig0, on the scene with his new rig. He's been working on some scripts for anyone who dares try them; stuff like the auto spin config for the Heavy (something I'd like to try but have a fear of breaking my TF2 lol).

On a personal level, I've been enjoying playing the Soldier class a lot recently, I didn't think I'd be able to get into it but it's really become quite a lot of fun! I won't be abandoning Pyro for now as that is where my favourite will always lie. Thanks to Reaver it looks like we've sorted out some random lag bug I had with the game where the game continued to freeze randomly (I would suggest speaking to him if you get anything like that).
